My Scrappy Space

Last month I finally got around to painting my scrap space. The white walls were driving me crazy. I can't say it has helped with the creativity, but I love it none- theless. My space is a bonus room and it is VERY hot all the time...good in the winter, but I keep the downstairs fairly warm anyway and it will be 90 degrees upstairs sometimes. I'm going to blame the lack of scrapping on that. Anyway...it looks a little cluttered in these photos, but it is actually pretty clean for me. I love all the bright colors and baskets of junk everywhere. Not the best pics because there's not such good lighting either and I didn't want to use the flash, but I promised Lyd I'd post these eventually. I love it. I feel blessed to have a space of my own.

Yummy Storage

I love my yummy new storage containers. I painted the lids to match my scrapbook room. They hold lots of treats! Sorry, I tilted the camera a little much with the top picture.

Button Shelf

So, if you were wondering ...I survived day one of the bad perm. Thanks for all the good vibes you sent my way! Any hoo...there was a thread on CMK on how you store your buttons... lots of fun. I said I would never sort my buttons like this. Just craziness if you ask me, but a case of the crazies took over and I ended up with this. I found this shelf at Hobby Lobby for $16 and painted it white. I only sorted my misc. buttons. My Foofala buttons and some of the others have their own homes in other glass jars scattered around my room. I guess these wouldn't be so handy to take to a crop. Good thing I left some in the button box. Buttons are just SWEET aren't they? Ummmm..yeah. Happy, Happy Friday!!

My Scrap Room!!

I spent forever cleaning my scrapbook room. I didn't think my girlfriend would actually believe you could see my table, so I'm posting pictures for all to see. My table is clean! It has actually stayed that way. I am loving it! Everything is jammed in that corner because I am a lazy scrapper. It has to be where I can reach it without getting up or I just won't use it. Pathetic, huh? I really like having my Store-In-Style cubes right under me like that. I sit with my feet under me or on the table while I scrap, so it's not a problem with leg room. Too silly, I know! I am off to work tomorrow! I will miss my little scrappy space!

Random Happiness Jars

Here are those cute little jars I bought at Deals. I didn't have any problem filling them up. I hung some things from shelf that make me happy. Just thought I would share. Love my scrapbook room. It's a little busy. It would make some people crazy, but it makes me perfectly happy.
