I was out walking and saw the cutest little squirrell. At first he refused to have his picture taken, but when he saw his sister getting all the attention, he jumped right in. I often say he acts like his dad, but honestly it's just typical me to get a good case of the sillies. Oh, and what is beside him that is so funny? Nothing but a bunch of mums! Told ya he was just like his mum!

This has been mostly finished forever. Now, it is finished. Tomorrow it will go to it's new home. It is for Ashleys 1st grade teacher. We missed her birthday last year, so we are trying to make up for it this year. The pictures are of her grandson. The picture on the board is Annika. That's just what was on there when I took the picture. I'll have to remember to take that off. We are keeping that one. I think I need one of these boards. Anyway...Happy birthday Mrs. G! (Remember..Click on the pic if you need a closer look.)

My kiddos are driving me crazy with all the fighting. They just beat on each other constantly. I realize I am probably doing something wrong. They seem to like an audience. It doesn't seem to be any fun if I'm not right in the middle of it. I found this picture of my brother and I when we were little. Aren't we sweet? We really used to beat the soup out of each other. Now we hardly speak to one another. The fighting has got to come to an end at our house. There is going to be some kissin' and makin' up. If not I may be coming to your house to spend the night!

I have heard some people think I favor my daughter. Yes, she gets more scrapbook pages because girly pages are more fun. Yes, she gets more clothes, because he is very picky and girl clothes are more fun. Do I love her more...of course not. He gets way more of my time because she is at school and he is at home 2 days a week with me! So, I will try to give him more blog time. Here he is this summer eating a "butter sandwich". Isn't he the cutest. And what color would you call those eyes. He says they are "brown and wipe eyes" "just like mommies". I wouldn't exactly call those brown, but I can't put my finger on a color. What do you think? I said very pretty eyes Austin! He said, "NO, not pretty! Brown and wipe eyes! Like you! Yes, just like me, you stubborn little guy! Happy Thursday everyone!

So, I neglect my blog Monday through Thursday. Now, I think I have at least 3 people reading my blog on a regular basis, so I thought I would try to update it at least once during those days. No, I didn't just whip this out after class tonight. It's a Basic Grey matchbook I did a while back for a DT project. Just a peek at the inside pages to give you something to look at. Only 25 minutes of Monday left. I'm going to drag myself upstairs and get some sleep. Okay, Lyd, since you are one of the 3 people, tomorrow I'll post a pic just for you!

I have loved those Making Memories wreaths since they came out, but I'm not much on boxed kits. I always want to put my own spin on things. I came across this wreath at Marshalls and fell in love. The frames are all Making Memories. It was really easy to make, but I'm happy with it.

I managed to finish the layout I started at camp. I think I just ran out of room to add anything else, so I had to call it good! I also wanted to post pics of the highlight of my weekend...the zip line! I wish I could do this thing everyday. I should have taken pictures of the view down from this thing. It's just awesome. I only got pics of Lyd and I strapped in. Don't we look cool?
I have had this frame for 3 or 4 months. It was black and had pictures of sailboats in side the frames when I got it. It was a must have on a shopping trip in Illinois with my girlfriend. I was just in love with those knobs. As soon as I got home I primed it, and ever since it has been sitting in my closet. I finally got my hands on the KI Fall line and I knew just what to do with it. This is the first piece of home decor I have ever made that I would actually display outside of my scrapbook room. I love it! I was making it for a gift, but I'm not sure I can part with it. Look how cute those kiddos are! The insides are just on chipboard so the plan is to make different ones for different holidays. They just pop out the back and I can just untie the ribbon and tie another one on. I think I see an order for some Christmas KI in my future!

This is what I took to camp to work on. It is a gift for my mother in laws best friend. She lives in California. She is just one of the nicest ladies I've ever met. She's not a scrap booker, but last time she came to visit she fell in love with my scrapbook room, and especially my altered magnetic board. She wanted one for her sewing room. All the kids are her grandkids. I hope she likes it. These things are so fun to make.

ScapDiva Camp was so much fun! I am so tired. I was tired before I went, but now I am really beat. I didn't take very many pics and the ones I managed to get didn't turn out so great, but I'll post a few anyway. I'm sure Jen will post some on the Creations blog when she gets a chance.
Here is the bug fully loaded before Lyd and I left. I know it doesn't look like much, but the back seat was down and my bedding wasn't even in yet.
All the colorful goodies we had on our table just made me happy. That is not my ribbon basket! Mine was the giant wicker laundry basket in the floor filled with ribbon. That cute little organized deal is Lyd's. I talked her into taking the Crop-a-Dile to that white bucket before the weekend was over!
I tried making some memories with people, but at 3:30 in the morning we had trouble finding an willing audience. Picture number 3 is Tiasha. She works at the Springfield store. Kind of looks like the corpse bride asleep, doesn't she? Tiasha is the sweetest person evah! If I had to be stranded on an island and had to pick people to take with me, I would definitely take this girl. She is the best, and didn't even try to kill me when she saw this.
The 4th picture is Jen. She and her mom own the stores. She thought she was seeing the light when my flash went off in her face. I am lucky everyone was really just too tired to swing at me for doing this. I was actually roaming around because Lydie and I were giggling too loud in our own room and were afraid we were going to get kicked out. She was also knocking on the wooden bunk bed for some reason. We met up in the game room with 2 other rowdy campers and decided it would be a good idea to take some pictures. So, please don't think this was all my bright idea. Although I don't seem to need much encouragement.
