Lost and Found!

So...I was digging in my scraproom closet for something and I picked up this stack of layouts that are in need of a home. I saw something strange. The corner of a package that said Technique Tuesday, and I do not own any Technique Tuesday stamps. My best friend, however, lost a brand new set on her last visit. Being on a very tight scrapbook budget, she was very distraught. We were both very puzzled and of course thought my husband must in some way be behind the entire ordeal. He throws everything away. It must've been me this time. Just this once! Sorry Lyd..Does this package look familiar? You don't mind if I open them do you? Just kidding!

Sunday at the Park

Grandma went to a teacher's conference so we went to spend the day with grandpa. We got some KFC and then headed to the park! Ashley found two other girls the same age as her to play with and Austin had a blast just chasing them around. I got to take some pictures of Ash in her cute orange sweater, and then I chased all of them around, so we had a great time. I thought I was going to get stuck in the twisty slide a couple of times. I do not recommend going down one of those things head first. It seems like a good idea...but maybe not when you're 30. All of the pics I took of Austin turned out blurry...of course! Ash's aunt got her the sweater at a second hand cute and cozy! She just loves it! Some days I just can't get over how much she looks like me. Just amazing!

The Shelf

What a week! Night class Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday..Work Thursday, Friday..and now, it's Saturday! I can do laundry and homework! I'll try to keep the whine to a minimum. I did manage to get my shelf put up this week. I wanted this thing sooooo badly and I was given a gift card to Lowe's for no reason at all by my step-mom. I rushed off to buy it and that was 2 months ago. My husband did not want me putting holes in the walls in our brand new house, but if he can hang a moose head, then I can hang a cute little shelf in my scrapbook room! I had to get it up because I had brand new jars to put on it! My new Deals purchase! Just a dollar! I tied some ribbon on those babies! Haven't decided what I'm going to put in them yet, but just you wait...probably whatever overflows next on my scrap table! If you are wondering what is hanging on my shelf..yes, it's a trivet. Another Deals purchase last summer..don't ask why. I just thought it was so cute and somehow it ended up with my scrapbook stuff and the next thing you know I was tying ribbon on it. It's a sickness with the ribbon! I have big plans for the hangings on that shelf, but for now I am happy looking at the trivet! What a weirdo I am!

Creations Unlimited Camp!

Oct. 6th my LSS is having a crop camp in Oklahoma! Last year it was a total blast, except that I had a sinus infection and felt horrible the entire weekend. The weather was beautiful, the camp was awesome, and we got to do a zip line! Not to mention, crop time, unlimited chocolate & caffeine, and no little ones running around. This year my best friend is going, so everyone better be prepared for my crazy bone to break free! I am posting some of the give-a-ways I made for camp. The top one is a magnetic frame for the fridge. No, they won't get to keep the pic. It just looked weird without one in it. It lifted the idea from the KI website. I think Jamie Waters made them. Hers were way cuter, but I'm trying to go cheap here! These Halloween cards are actually a sample I made for the store. Jen said to stop whining about her giving me old product and she also said something about me being too sassy for my own britches. She gave me 2001 Halloween stickers so you can be the judge here. She also gave me a couple of sheets of the new Basic Grey and a Basic Grey matchbook and she wanted me to make sure that was KNOWN! Blogger is too slow, that's all I have time for now!

The Last Smile

This was the last time I got smiles before preschool out of this little guy. Now just the mention of it brings him to tears. This morning was especially bad. He screamed piercing screams all the way there. Once inside he tried to run and kicked the teacher who tried to capture him. They just called and said he calmed down as soon as I left. What a stinker! He wears me out! Last year he cried every morning for 2 months. I'm not sure I will last 2 months!

Guest Designer entry for CMK

I finally decided to take the plunge and try for guest designer at CMK this month. It was a really fun challenge this month. We were supposed to use at least 6 patterned papers, 4 ribbons, 10 buttons, and 3 flowers. I do love to put me some stuff on my pages! I know it's not all about that, but who doesn't like to cover their pages with little pieces of their favorite things? These are more of the pics I took during Annika and Lydie's visit this summer. The girls always have such a good time together. What a couple of cuties!

My First Post!

My first post! I'm not quite sure what I'm doing, but I hope this will be a lot of fun. I wanted to start off with a picture, because that's alway the best part right? This is one of my favorites. I took it the first of August while my best friend and her daughter were visiting. We took our kiddos downtown and got some great shots of them goofing off together.

So maybe a little bit about me now. Just a little.. I love to scrapbook and take photographs of my two beautiful children. I have a degree in elementary education and am currently working on my Masters. It really cuts into my scrapbooking time, but I think it will pay off. I have a passion to work with children. That's enough for now. I'm not very exciting and I have a two year old sitting on my lap sticking his fingers up my nose!
